really cool result but your tutorial wasnt that great think you could have gone more in-depth

in fact that s my very first tutorial, i started doing it in flash then i realised that i ve done a 2mo file that was showing the same


and as my work is everything but organised, i didn t really know how to explain.
i already feel that the tut is boring, so adding explainations ... i really dunno


thanks for your comment. i suck as a teacher, i can t even be fun repeating a good joke, so tutorials should simply be fobidden to me a few deviants have asked me to do one so here is the failure

yea that is a pretty good result, and I can pretty much make out how you did everything, of course it could be better explained, but you did very well with the english you know ^-^

Yeah i think its good tutorial mate, i see the basics but you have'nt gone too much into depth, i can see your work has more technical bits mybe you don't want to share. Some of the structure in your work is very solid and structured, far from what you've explained in this tutorial, but yeah i like it and the little peice at the end is very interesting. Sometimes i think though how can you only create masks. Don't you get bored. With the skill you have you should broaden youre horizons.

well that s what i use on every dev to make it exist. to make the tut simple i ve kept the same settings for the brushs, when i just keep changing it al along. else to get a better result , it s just a never ending repeating of those steps, sometimes 4 or 5 times on the same part .

on .. let s say half of my work , i used my ugly face as a basis but the more i learn the less i use that, cause
once there is something done, it s hard to change it for real . like writting a sentence, once on the paper you just can t take it out of your mind ^_^

a very few times i do a little work with textures. but everybody here is better than i am to apply a texture.


else that s just luck one dev always got between 15 and 50 differents possibilities of evolution waiting in a folder. i just finish the one that seems better.

if i got some secrets, really they are secrets to me as well

as for doing more than masks, i know, i just can t find what else i could have fun with . seems like i miss imagination thanks a lot for that comment mate

WOW! O_O Thats very impressive! It must take you days to finish a pic. You must have a lot of patience.

The tutorial is very easy to understand even though you could of elaborated on a few things but it's all good. I think I'll try a little pic if I have time.

thanks . i do need hours to do anything. but a few months ago i was spending hours for nothing. now i got less loss thanks to practice. i remember some devs where i spent more than 30hours arghhhhhh.....


but there are for sure 2 kind of devs for me . the one where i know exactly what i want and work until i got it, and the one i let itself go just working on small parts without any care of the overall look. both are fun to do ^_^
